Return to Hunter Blair

I waited until Autumn to return to the Lady Hunter Blair walk near Stration in the Lambdoughty glen in the hope of some Autumn colour. I wasn't sure what to expect as regards the amount of autumn colour and was slightly disappointed, that said it was not totally unexpected. Hunter Blair Project

I decided to make a return visit to the Lady Hunter Blair walk at Straiton to scout out some of the other falls there.  Mainly with a view to shooting some autumn colour in the future. The first image which I intended to be B&W was shot with my old fully manual SMC Pentax-M 1:2 50mm lens at f/11. The second is of the same set of falls with a SMC Pentax-A 28mm lens... enjoy.

Buachaille Etive Mor

I thought I'd try and find a slightly different composition of the Buachaille from the classic composition. Not sure if it works or not there is a reason some locations have a classic composition/view usually it's the best. Shot with a Pentax K-5 ISO 100 f/13 1/8sec at 10mm and one longer exposure for the water.
