Well, the title got me over here to look, for sure. Must admit I am stumped, though (and I never missed "Combat" as a kid). Lots of mood and intrigue in the image.
Mark I never missed it either although they only screened a couple of the series over here, I think.
As for being stumped I thought you would have been the one to spot it. There is an old childhood memory of mine in this shot complete with Thomson machine-gun and that spawned the memory of combat hence the title... the answer is in the shot:)
I happened to see this photo in someone's blogroll this morning and just had to visit. And i have to admit, being an American expat, the title caught my eye, as well. ;) Gosh, i've enjoyed my time exploring your photographs. The moods, the wildness, the colours of the landscape and the light, it's all here. I really look forward to following your work. Lizzy :)

I recall that ol' Vic was later beheaded by a helicopter rotor during a movie shoot.
