Castle O' the King
Or should it be titled last wall standin? Often overlooked and neglected as everyone prefers to take pix of the lighthouse and rightly so! I thought it was about time to post a shot of Turnberry Castle the birthplace of the King of Scots, Robert de Bruce. Although there are plenty of other walls of the castle still to be seen this is the last wall still standin tall and proud.
The castle was abandoned and fell into ruin not long after Robert the Bruce recaptured it from the English durin the Scottish wars of independence. Then some prat built a lighthouse right in the middle of it.

Hey..you're pretty prolific with these seascapes, and getting pretty good at 'em too! Beautiful.
Great composed and a perfect exposure. Well done.
