After the Rain

I tried to keep this one a wee bit lighter as most off me work tends to be on the dark side, I think perhaps this is to light.

Green

Mellow Yellow

my first time ever photographing oilseed and i think it needs to be shot with the light coming from another direction (behind) to bring out the full colour there's a greenish look to this and it's not colour-cast.... says he :))

There is certainly a Photoshop look as here in this shot taken tonight and I'm tempted to go back to GIMP!

Especially as I've discovered that in certain B&W shots there is still banding in the feathered brush even in 16bit, the thing I changed to Photoshop to avoid. Also I find the sharpening method I used in GIMP to be superior.... perhaps I'm just in a mood because I couldn't get the shots I wanted from tonight... or I've just over cooked this one... or.. or....

Beached

A single exposure. I was trying a new B&W conversion method and initially it was all surprisingly flat so I've tried to make the boat pop out a bit. Not sure it's worked, or can work, the light was rather harsh and directly over my shoulder.

Deep Blue

A single exposure although the sky might look added on, it's not! Funny if I were to lift the camera up a shade you would see a busy main road and a row of cottages! click the shot to enlarge

Spring Splash

Another from raw totally processed in photoshop (sad but probably goodbye to GIMP) one or two issues I'd like to resolve but a bit happier and getting there. I do like the way the splash of the wave has caught the sun however. click to enlarge
