Storm Lamp

I had to wait a day or two for the wind to abate otherwise it would probably have been a wasted half hour journey down to Turnberry. Luckily not only was the lamp alight (well it was near dark so it should be)but so was one of the window on the tower.

nice one - broad sweep of changling light and colours - great sea

Hi Mook:
I like this one the better of the two.. the sky is better and the composition of the rocks and sea just seems more right. I definitely like the flared-out light on the lighthouse. More atmosphere than the second one. Which one do you like?

Mark; I prefer this one although I was not sure if it was to dark.

The darkness doesn't really bother me, but you could certainly pull up the mid tones in that lower half quite a bit to bring out some detail if you wanted to, and see if you like that better. Might be nice...
